| Radio Install Using the Scosche Install Kit
- by Rick
The
Scosche kit #
TA2047 provides a factory look installation for single-DIN
radios into the 2000-2002 MR2 Spyder. Connect a factory
harness adapter to your radio harness with soldered connections and heat shrink for protection. This is the best way to do it, but
it takes time. I already did this earlier- inside where the AC
was on! Radio removal took 13 minutes, and the entire
radio installation took only 35 minutes - taking pictures and
everything! The Scosche kit
looks great- the radio doesn’t stick out too far, as it is slightly recessed
into the kit. I was afraid it would be sticking WAY out, but this kit solves
that!
